In this video, the Folk group "Ru Maccature" performs at the International Folklore Festival of Roccavivi (Aq) on August 9, 2013.

ORIGIN -The Folk group "Maccature" Ru Carpinone (Is) was founded in 1971 with the original name of "Warblers of Pentria". In 1987, after a short period of inactivity the group is reconstituted by adopting the current name derives from the typical dance of wedding parties.
COSTUME – The costume, taken from an antique print, dates back to the beginning of the century and consists of poor materials but the excellent chromatic effect. Particularly precious embroidered shirts with a particular point said "swallow's nest".
GROUP – The group consists of 35 elements divided between dancers, singers and musicians and performs a repertory typical of the rural tradition of Molise in General and Carpinonese in particular. Entire repertoire is the result of careful research transposed into dances and songs for sure visual effect but still respecting the traditional values that they want to express.
TOOLS – The group performs with typical instruments, both rhythmic music. Barrel organ in two Basses (two bottles), accordion, guitar, Shawm, bufù, tric to go dancing and tambourine recreate typical traditional country music.
